Fraud Prevention Strategies

WE OPERATE A ZERO TOLERANCE APPROACH

Confidentiality

We treat all company materials and data provided to us as strictly Private and Confidential.

We expect the same standard of care from all Customers, Suppliers and any of their purported or appointed representatives.

We ask all persons to not reproduce or disseminate our company information or contact details to "third parties" without our prior written consent.

If a breach of confidentiality, misuse of our data, logo or materials is detected we will terminate all business arrangements and report this to the appropriate authorities. We reserve our rights to pursue both criminal and civil prosecution for breaches and this may include compensation claims for damages.

Contract Transparency

We believe business contracts should be fair, transparent and properly documented. All contracts are reviewed by our Risk, Compliance and Legal teams as necessary.

We expect the same rigour to be applied to contract and documentation reviews conducted by all potential Customers or Suppliers.

We work with parties who share common principles that to achieve success any instances of ambiguity or error in contracts or other documentation must be openly discussed, clarified and corrected.

We reserve the right to cancel proposed business if corrective action is unreasonably refused and file Suspicious Activity Reports with (any and all) applicable authorities.

Operate within Law & Regulation

Our operational processes are geared to conduct business within applicable law and regulation. Principles of law and regulation cannot be ignored or waived.

We will not engage with sanctioned persons, entities or handle sanctioned cargoes. We maintain continuous monitoring processes.

If a compliance concern is flagged before a contract is executed it will raised and potential transactions placed on hold until further investigations are completed. If a material compliance issue arises during the execution and delivery phase of any contract, these will be immediately flagged and if necessary, actions will be agreed with our legal counsel to safely unwind the transaction and complete any compliance related filings.

Modern Slavery Statement

Modern slavery and human trafficking remain a hidden blight on our global society. We all have a responsibly to be alert to the risks, however small, in our business and in the wider supply chain. Our team are expected to report concerns and management are expected to act upon them.

Our supply chain includes the sourcing of goods and services from international suppliers who are expected to have their own detailed policies on modern slavery and human trafficking.

It is not practical for us (and every other participant in an international supply chain) to have a direct relationship with all links or parties in that supply chain. If you have any concerns we encourage you to report them accordingly to the relevant law enforcement agencies.
